- Funknasty sits out the drums and guest stars as a vocalist
It was another mission accomplished this past Friday night when I threw my first annual Eff Valentines day party at Lake Johnson. The event was the premiere of Nyle x Benamin, which was craaaaaaazy ill.
The night started off with Erin Rioux, who does expiremental electronic audio/visual fifth dimension type sh*t. I’m not sure exactly what to call it, but its pretty chill.
Next up was a suprise set from everyone’s favorite producer/performer duo Soundwavve. They got the party vibe started by snatching up several young ladies from the crowd.
My homie and fellow zooligan Syanide ripped the stage. It was the premiere of a lot of unreleased material, which I’ve gotta say is superdope. Keep your ears open in 2010!
The party was full and the place was crazy by the time 12:30 rolled around. It was the first time that me and Benamin, had planned out a set together, so we were both a little anxious. But by the time we started the vibe was already crazy. London, Nemiss, BS, Broke Mc, Odu, and Syanide had kicked off a cypher and was keeping the crowd entertained until Benamin was done plugging in.

The height of the night was when I performed the unreleased song “Walout!” The whole place went buck wild, until I got overzealous and jumping into the crowd, who let my stage-dive turn into a quick introduction of my face to the floor.

Ben was absouloutely killling it on the MPC!! Part of the reason I hate performing with DJ’s is because you loose that live feel, but with Ben its like the perfect blend between the band’s liveness and a dj’s clarity.
The homie Fresh Daily made an awesome guest appearance, and we freestyled a bit.
